After leaving PNG in 1986 and migrating to Sydney I was recruited by AMP and started my practice and a career in the financial services industry.
Initially, the change was challenging after coming from the fishing and diving industries but I was used to challenges due to the ones that these industries threw at me and having been born in Lae, PNG.
Qualities
I find that I can relate to just about everybody. This must have been a trait from the PNG upbringing where there were no class distinctions and we had a beer with the plumber and accountant.
I treat all clients the same irrespective if they earn $50,000 or $500,000. At the end of the day they are all talking to me about their families, creating personal wealth, retirement and estate protection.
Being in business for the last 29 years provides me with an understanding of how small business operates so I can provide advice and solutions to their revenue and capital protection.
My primary aim is to provide our valued clients quality advice and treat them with respect.
